REQUEST: conversation with IP eval team Good morning, Rao!

As you may know, I am helping to lead the expert evaluation team directed by the Chairman and Margie following the issuance of the Indian Poin t pipeline event inquiry by OIG. My team would like to have a conversation with you to ensure we have the appropriate background on the issues of interest.

Our focus is to better understand the analysis you conducted and t he NRC processes you were working within. We are also interested in how, in general, RG 1.91 and the ALOHA cod e are used by the NRC and licensees to address these issues. We may have a few other general topic a reas to share before we meet, as we are still digest ing the information. However, we a re looking forward to an informal discussions, so we do not plan to send s pecific questions or request any particular documents/preparation.

We would like to meet with you early next week but are flexible on timing. Is there a particular t ime that would work best for you?
