Purpose Purpose - The purpose of this pre-submittal meeting is to communicate to the staff Southern Nuclear Companys (SNC) intent to submit for approval, implementation of the Alternative Source Term Methodology (RG - 1.183 R0). | |||
In addition, due to the strong synergies that exist between RG-1.183 R0 implementation and TSTF-490 Deletion of E Bar Definition and Revision to RCS Specific Activity Tech Spec SNC will also be requesting approval for implementation of TSTF-490 R0. | |||

Submittal Scope For AST Implementation SNC will submit for NRC approval associated markups to Technical Specifications (TS) and Bases along with the full compliment of Dose Consequence Analyses specified by RG 1.183 R0 to support peak rod burnups up to () 62 GWD/MTU. | |||
