By letter dated May 23, 2013, you submitted an exemption request for the Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station (PBAPS), Units 2 and 3 Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI). You requested an exemption for the Transnuclear, Inc. TN-68 casks loaded with fuel bundles with incorrect cooling times.
By letter dated May 23, 2013, you submitted an exemption request for the Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station (PBAPS), Units 2 and 3 Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI).
 
You requested an exemption for the Transnuclear, Inc. TN-68 casks loaded with fuel bundles with incorrect cooling times.
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff has reviewed your application and have concluded that it provides technical information in sufficient detail to enable the staff to complete its detailed review and make an independent assessment regarding the acceptability of the proposed amendment in terms of regulatory requirements, and the protection of public health and safety, and the environment. We have established a schedule for this review which allows for the staff to issue a request for additional information (RAI) in August 2013, and to prepare its exemption action in February 2014. If no RAI is needed, the staff's exemption action may be completed earlier.
