| The licensee investigated the cause of the shutdown of the main feedwater pumps and did not conclusively identify a human error or failed component. The licensee did, however, re-align equipment to bypass the nonsafety-related component involved with the loss of the pumps. The licensee restarted the reactor on October 25 and connected the generator to the offsite electrical distribution grid on October 26. The resident inspectors observed portions of these activities. | | The licensee investigated the cause of the shutdown of the main feedwater pumps and did not conclusively identify a human error or failed component.
