State Consultation: Request for Comments on the LAR Regarding Changes to Browns Ferry Units 1, 2, and 3 Renewed Facility Operating Licenses

Dear Mr. Turberville,

The NRC is finalizing license amendments for Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant, Units 1, 2, and 3. In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Section 50.91(b), I am notifying you of the proposed issuance of these amendments.

The amendments are in response to Tennessee Valley Authoritys application dated February 23, 2018, as supplemented by letters dated March 7, 2018; July 23, 2018; December 13, 2018; December 14, 2018; January 16, 2019 (two letters),

January 25, 2019; March 13, 2019; April 24, 2019; and April 29, 2019. The amendments allow operation in the expanded Maximum Extended Load Line Limit Analysis Plus operating domain and use of the Detect and Suppress Solution -

Confirmation Density stability solution.

The license amendment request was published in Federal Register on July 5, 2018 (83 FR 26112). No public comments were received.
