By letter L-11-9287 dated October 16, 2011 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML L112900204), FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Com mpany (FENOC, the licensee) submitted a Title T 10 to the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR R) 50.55a Request, VR-1, Revision 1, to modiffy the frequency of control rod drive system valve e testing for the Perry Nuclear Power Plant, Unit 1.

The purpose of this e-mail is to prov vide the results of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Co ommission (NRC) staffs acceptance review of th his application. The acceptance review was perfformed to determine if there is sufficient techniical information in scope and depth to allow the N NRC staff to complete its detailed technical review w.
