Siva,

Thank you again for coordinating todays selective leaching discussion. We found it beneficial and productive. As discussed with you and your staff, we plan to develop and submit an additional supplement to our application to address the questions raised by your technical staff. This supplement will be separate from our Supplement 3 scheduled for submittal later this month. This additional supplement will segregate the selective leaching program into a one-time program consistent with the GALL and a new ongoing plant-specific program that will address the material/environment combinations for which Perry has identified selective leaching. This new supplement will present the specific material/environment combinations within the scope of the new ongoing plant-specific program. We intend to provide the sample population requirements for the material/environment combination within the plant-specific program. The plant-specific program will address (1) gray cast iron material exposed to raw water, (2) Gray cast iron material exposed to soil and (3) ductile iron material exposed to soil.

As part of this supplement, we will supersede the changes made to the selective leaching program presented in the July 2024 annual update to our application. Please note that the one-time selective leaching program will exclude the above material/environment combinations as they will be managed by the new plant specific selective leaching program.

We will develop a schedule for development and submittal of this additional supplement and communicate this to you for planning purposes.
