By letter dated December 29, 2007, you applied for an amendment to the Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2, Renewed Facility Operating License Nos. DPR-24 and DPR-27. The proposed change would have modified the facility technical specifications (TS) pertaining to TS 3.7.5.C. This revision would allow two separate one-time extensions of the completion time for TS 3.7.5.C from 7 days to 16 days. Subsequently, by letter dated August 21, 2008, you withdrew the amendment request. 
 
The Commission has filed the enclosed Notice of Withdrawal of Application for Amendment to the Renewed Facility Operating Licenses with the Office of the Federal Register for publication.

Dear Mr. Meyer:

By letter dated December 29, 2007, you applied for an amendment to the Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2, Renewed Facility Operating License Nos. DPR-24 and DPR-27. The proposed change would have modified the facility technical specifications (TS) pertaining to TS 3.7.5.C. This revision would allow two separate one-time extensions of the completion time for TS 3.7.5.C from 7 days to 16 days.
