INFORMATION MEETING WITH A QUESTION AND ANSWER SESSION TO DISCUSS NRC 2022 END-OF-CYCLE PLANT PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT OF POINT BEACH NUCLEAR PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2
Dear Michael Strope:
This letter is to inform you that the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) will conduct an Information Meeting with a Question and Answer Session on Monday, July 10, 2023, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. (CDT) at Two Rivers Fire Department, 2122 Monroe Street, Two Rivers, WI. The purpose of this meeting is for the NRC staff to meet directly with individuals to discuss regulatory and technical issues. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the NRC staff or make comments about the issues discussed throughout the meeting, however the NRC is not actively soliciting comments towards regulatory decisions at this meeting.
Specifically, members of the NRC will be available to discuss the assessment of Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Unit 1 and 2 performance. NextEra Energy is encouraged to participate in this meeting.
