Dear Sir or Madam:

In accordance with Reference 1, Entergy Operations, Inc. (Entergy) deferred the supplement to the Waterford 3 Cyber Security Plan until after the NRC staff has provided direction on further revision. In accordance with Reference 2, the NRC issued a request for additional information (RAI) on the Waterford 3 Cyber Security Plan with response due by February 15, 2011. Entergys responses to the RAI are provided in Attachment 1. Changes to Section 4.3, Defense-In-Depth Protective Strategies of the Waterford 3 Cyber Security Plan will be made in accordance with the RAI responses as described in Attachment 1. In addition to Reference 1 resolution, other common industry issues are being resolved (i.e., cyber security records retention and implementation schedules), therefore, the Waterford 3 Cyber Security Plan containing the changes reflecting the Waterford 3 RAI responses will be submitted concurrently with the common industry issue resolutions.

Entergy requests that Attachment 1 which contains security-related information, be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390.

This document contains security-related information.

When separated from Attachment 1, this document is decontrolled.
