REFERENCE:

1. Entergy Letter dated February 22, 2010, "Technical Specification Change Regarding Steam Generator Program" (W3F1-2010-0011) [ADAMS Accession No. MLI100550137]

Dear Sir or Madam:

In letter dated February 22, 2010 (Reference 1), Entergy Operations, Inc. (Entergy) requested a license amendment to the Waterford Steam Electric Station, Unit 3 (Waterford 3) Technical Specifications (TS) related to the "Steam Generator (SG) Program" under TS 6.5.9 and TS 6.9.1.5.

The requested change was to support a spring 2011 planned replacement of the Waterford 3 SGs. A condition associated with the manufacturing of the SGs has changed the planned replacement date of the original SGs which may impact the basis for the requested change.

Therefore, Entergy is withdrawing the referenced license amendment request from NRC review.

Another license amendment request will be submitted by Entergy to support the replacement of the Waterford 3 SGs in a future outage.

This letter contains no new commitments.
