MC7323, MC7324, MC7325, and MC7326)," dated December 8, 2005 In Reference 1, Exelon Generation Company, LLC (EGC) requested an amendment to Renewed Facility Operating License Nos . DPR-19 and DPR-25 for Dresden Nuclear Power Station (DNPS) Units 2 and 3, and Renewed Facility Operating License Nos. DPR-29 and DPR-30 for Quad Cities Nuclear Power Station (QCNPS) Units 1 and 2. The proposed amendment supports the transition to Westinghouse SVEA-96 Optimal fuel at DNPS and QCNPS .

January 26, 2006 U . S . Nuclear Regulatory Commission Page 2 In Reference 2, the NRC requested additional information to complete its review . In response to Reference 2, EGC has prepared the attached information .

EGC's response to NRC Request 6 has not yet been finalized . The response to NRC Request 6 will be submitted to the NRC in a separate letter .

Additionally, EGC has identified that the marked-up and retyped TS page 5 .6-4 for QCNPS, that was submitted to the NRC in Reference 1, inadvertently omitted the word "Fuel" from the title of Westinghouse topical report WCAP-1 6081 -P-A, "10x10 SVEA Fuel Critical Power Experiments and CPR Correlation : SVEA-96 Optimal ." Attachment 3 provides a revised version of this page that incorporates this editorial correction .

Attachment 2 contains information proprietary to Westinghouse Electric Company LLC ; it is supported by an affidavit signed by Westinghouse, the owner of the information . The affidavit, provided in Attachment 4, sets forth the basis on which the information may be withheld from public disclosure by the NRC and addresses with specificity the considerations listed in paragraph (b)(4) of 10 CFR 2 .390, "Public inspections, exemptions, requests for withholding."

Accordingly, it is requested that the information be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 . A non-proprietary version of the information contained in is also provided in Attachment 4.
