dated April 16, 2018 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML18117A006)

Ladies and Gentlemen:

In Reference 1, Duke Energy Progress, LLC (Duke Energy) submitted a request for an amendment to the Technical Specifications (TS) for H.B. Robinson Steam Electric Plant, Unit No. 2 (HBRSEP). The proposed amendment would modify HBRSEP's TS by relocating specific Surveillance Frequencies to a licensee-controlled program. Per subsequent discussion with the NRG Project Manager regarding the Reference 1 submittal, a subset of the proposed TS page changes have been revised and are provided in Attachment 1. These proposed TS page changes supersede the respective TS pages in Attachment 3 of Reference 1. No new commitments have been made in this submittal. If you have additional questions, please contact Mr. Kevin Ellis, Manager - Regulatory Affairs, at 843-951-1329.

I declare under penalty of perjury that the foregoing is true and correct.

Executed on 2 <Sff~6f~ o18.

Sincere!~ ~
