Carolina Power & Light Company (CP&L) and Florida Power Corporation (FPC) submitted the Applicationfor Approval of Indirect Transfers of Control of Licenses Pursuantto 10 CFR § 50.80 and 10 CFR § 72.50, dated March 30, 2011, for the licensees listed above via Reference 1. A Request for Additional Information (RAI), Reference 2, was received via e-mail on July 22, 2011. CP&L and FPC responded to the RAI via Reference 3 on September 2, 2011.

Reference 3, Enclosure 1, Attachment 2, contained post-merger Tier 3 and 4 Nuclear Generation organizational design charts for which CP&L and FPC requested withholding in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390(a)(4). The Tier 3 and 4 Nuclear Generation organizational charts have since been released to employees. Therefore, CP&L and FPC withdraw their request to withhold the information contained in Reference 3.

This document contains no new regulatory commitments.
