Following the completion of the development process, TSTF-523, Revision 2, Generic Letter 2008-01, Managing Gas Accumulation, was issued. The Notice of Availability for TSTF-523 was published in the Federal Register on January 15,2014 (Reference 3).

Therefore, SNC is revising the commitments to complete the evaluation and plans to provide the submittal of a LAR to adopt TSTF-523 by June 30, 2015. SNC believes that the actions completed in response to Generic Letter 2008-01 provide confidence that safety will be preserved during the extended evaluation period that the revised regulatory commitments afford.
