I talked with Orano and they will have the revised SAR to submit by the end of January. I did receive the invitation and am currently getting my account set up for Box, and then I will be able to view the NRC folder. I will let you know when I hear back from Orano.

I asked Orano to send a revised SAR, however it is likely that it wont be submitted until January since a good chunk of the team is on leave until the New Year. If you can set up a folder in NRCs Box, that would be great. I will plan to submit the SAR revision to the NRC electronically.

I only submitted the RAI response to you two via email, and we are adding it to the NNSA eDOCS. I am unfamiliar with how to submit through the NRCs electronic portal; however, I can submit it through there if needed.

Regarding the SAR change, ORANO was planning to prepare a SAR Rev 6.1 with the changes mentioned in the RAI as soon as they get the go ahead from the NNSA/NRC that these changes would be acceptable. This change would be easily implemented so if it would be better to have that page change submitted with the RAI as well for staffs review, then I can have ORANO send that now.

I am not aware of an upcoming shipment; however, I will double check and get back to you if this has changed.

Please let me know if you submitted the RAI response related to the Model No. 435-B through the NRCs electronic portal or not. I need to ensure that your response is added to CoC No. 9355s docket.

On a related note, the response mentions that there would be changes to the SAR, but there were no SAR page changes included in the response. At your earliest convenience, let me know if the intent is to provide the page change(s) for staffs review. If you decide to not provide the page change(s), then, the staff may decide adding the RAI letter in the REFERENCES, section of the certificate and verify that the information is included in the next consolidated application or adding a condition to your certificate.

Also, I have not been informed about that the changes to this certificate are needed for an upcoming shipment. If this has changed, please let me know as soon as possible.

Our RAI response letter is prepared to be signed this week. I noticed that in our NNSA document concurrence, there is a response memo addressed to you regarding a change to Section 7.1.3.1 step 10(c) that received NRC verbal agreement during the RSI observation discussion to address the full RSI. This RAI appears to be identical to the previously discussed RSI and James Mumma prepared that response memo for submittal with this language (which is what we have in the RAI). I was wondering if you would like that RSI response letter, or since the language in the RAI is the same, if that would be better to just send our response to the RAI.

Hopefully this makes sense. I am available to discuss it further at 505-923-0783.
