PENNSYLVANIA STATE UNIVERSITY - LICENSE AMENDMENT REQUEST TO ADD ONE AUTHORIZED BUILDING (ENTERPRISE PROJECT IDENTIFICATION NUMBER L-2023-NFA-0002)

In accordance with requirements in Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Paragraph 70.25(e), by letter dated April 19, 2024 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System [ADAMS] Accession Number ML24120A055), the Pennsylvania State University submitted an application requesting U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) approval of proposed changes to special nuclear materials license number 95 (SNM-95) to reflect a planned relocation of the Environmental Health and Safety's Radiation Protection Office.

The NRC staff performed an acceptance review of your application to determine whether the application contains sufficient technical information in scope and depth to allow the staff to complete the detailed technical review. The purpose of this letter is to advise you that additional technical information is needed for the NRC staff to complete the acceptance review of your license application. The information needed to complete the acceptance review is described in the enclosure to this letter. Please provide a formal response within 25 business days of receipt of this letter. Note that the formal technical review of the license application will be placed on hold pending receipt of the necessary supplemental information. A review schedule will be provided once the acceptance letter is issued.
