Thank you very much for your reply on behalf of the Ysleta del Sur Pueblo. Should consultation be needed under NAGPRA, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) will be in contact with the Pueblo.

Additionally, you state that copies of the Pueblos Cultural Affiliation Position Paper and Consultation Policy are available on request. The NRC respectfully request copies of these documents.

This e-mail is in response to the correspondence received in our office in which you provide the Ysleta del Sur Pueblo the opportunity to comment on NHPA Section 106 Determination of no Effects Regarding Proposed Consolidated Storage Facility, Andrews County, Texas.

While we do not have any comments on the proposed undertaking and believe that this project will not adversely affect traditional, religious or culturally significant sites of our Pueblo and have no opposition to it; we would like to request consultation should any human remains or artifacts unearthed during this project be determined to fall under the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA) guidelines. Copies of our Pueblos Cultural Affiliation Position Paper and Consultation Policy are available upon request.

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is providing by this email, a letter addressed to you regarding the NRCs determination of no effects for Interim Storage Partners' proposed Consolidated Interim Storage Facility to be sited in Andrews County, Texas (the undertaking).

The letter summarizes the support for NRC's determination and encloses a letter to Mr.

Mark Wolfe, the State of Texas Historic Preservation Office, with its own enclosures. The letter to Mr. Wolfe and its enclosures are also provided with this email. One of those enclosures is password protected. The password will be provided separately from this email.
