It is requested that the Sper i Nuclear Material License No. SNM-1305 be renewed. This license expires on August 31, 1982.

It authorizes the possession alid use of up to 30 Medtronic Model 9000 units, 60 Coratomic Model C-100 cir C-101 units and 20 Cordis Model 184A units. To date, 14 Medtronic Model 9000 units and 2 Coratomic units are in use and no Cordis 184A units have been used.

Dr. Chardack, Dr. Gage and Dr. Bhayana are participating in the clinical evaluation of nuclear-powered cardiac pacemakers. These Doctors are familiar y th the Medtronic, Coratomic and Cordis protocols and (nhderstand that they must be followed.
