-I spoke with Allen Howe this morning and he informed me that the i

Time-of-Flight method is.an improvement over the P-Scan.

The inspection is

. going well. However, the team still needs to come to closure of some issues concerning the sizing of flaws. The team is giving special consideration to ensure that flaws are not characterized overly conservatively resulting in extra dose for their repair.

At the completion of the inspection SNC will still need to respond to several previously issued RAI questions regarding the closure welds. These include how to implement the UT into the Coc, if required.. This response must be received before the CAL closure inspections can take place. All parties agree that Point Beach will be first utility inspected'(probably late May or early June).

For the first time in a long time I see a light at the end of the tunnel - and its not a train!
