EQUIPMENT QUALIFICATION INSPECTION - COOPER NUCLEAR STATION ThisletterconfirmsthedatesofOctober27,to'il,1986,fortheequipment qualification (EQ) inspection at Cooper Nuclear Station. These dates were established during previous telephone conversations with your staff by Mr. R. E. Ireland, Region IV.
A management entrance meeting is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on October 27, 1986, at your plant site. A plant walkdown inspection of equipment is planned for October 30, 1986. A management exit meeting is tentatively scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on October 31, 1986, at the plant site. We will further contact your staff by telephone to address the logistics of the inspection.
The inspection will include the following:
1.
Review of your implementation of a 10 CFR 50.49 program. including preservation of the qualified status of qualified equipment.
2.
Review of your implementation of Technical Evaluation Report / Safety Evaluation Report EQ corrective action commitments.
3.
Review of EQ documentation files.
4.
Physical inspection of selected equipment.
