Dear Mr. Crews:

Enclosed is a copy of a letter sent to the N.R.C. reporting an unusual occurrence with the BRR linear power channel during a routine power calibration.

It was reported that during reactor operation on the 6th of July we might operate exceeding our license limit.

Preliminary analyses after more measurements have been taken indicate that we were still operating within our license limit.

A copy of a second report explaining the unusual occurrence will be sent to your office as soon as possible.
