Engelken, R0 HANGAR FAILURE ON TORUS SUCTION HEADER We have reviewed all the licensee responses to the subject Operations Bulletin (72-1) to determine what further actions should be taken. This review, and discussions with L and RO:III on this matter indicate that we should defer any further action until ue have received a detailed report due to be submitted soon by Commonwealth Edison.

This report is to provide the results of the post-repair tests performed on the Quad Cities 2 torus and header system.

According to J. Reisland, L, this report is expected the latter part of this month (S ep temb er) . We will keep you informed on this matter.
