t Violations None 17 Infract 2ons A.
Contrary to License Condition 3.9.10 of Amendment MPP-1 to your license, tranfers of plutonium from operating hoods and boxes were not being observed and accompanied by a safeguards clerk or other des.ignated individual in addition to the' person making the transfer.
B.
Contrary to License Condition 3.9.14 of Amendment MPP-1 to your license, packages and containers not needed in support of operations within the material access area (MAA) were permitted entry into the FMA. The routine entry of women's handbags into the change room is a specific example.
C.
Contrary to License Condition 3.9.15 of Amendment MPP-1 to your license, the two rear entrances into the general laboratory from the plant corridor were not panic locked and in use only for eme,rgency exits.
D.
Contrary to License Condition 3.9.16 of Amendment MPP-1 to your license, there was no prohibition against packages, containers, or coats being carried through the scarch devices by personnel exiting the MAA.
Women's handbags were observed being carried through the scarch devices.
E.
Contrary to License Condition 3.9.17 of Amendment MPP-1 to your license, roving observers, one per shif t, were not monitoring material control and accounting performance.
These infractions had the potential for causing or contributing to occurrences related to common defense and security.
