WITHDRAWAL OF LICENSE AMENDMENT REQUEST NO. NPF-10/15-75 FOR SAN ONOFRE NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION UNITS 2 AND 3 By letter dated September 30, 1986, Southern California Edison Company withdrew a portion of its March 7, 1984 application for amendments to Facility Operating License Nos. NPF-10 and NPF-15 for the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Units 2 and 3.

The withdrawn portion was superseded by another application dated March 17, 1986.

The withdrawn amendment application proposed to revise Technical Specification 4.8.1.1.2.c to detennine the operability of the diesel generator should the fuel oil fail to meet the test for insolubles.

The Connission has granted the withdrawal request and has filed the enclosed "Notice of Withdrawal of Application for Amendments to Facility Operating Licenses" with the Office of Federal Register for publication.
