S. Nuclear Regulatory Comission (the Comission) has granted a request by Southern California Edison Company (SCE) to withdraw the March 7,1984 applica-I

tion for amendments to Facility Operating License No. NPF-10 and Facility Operating License No. NPF-15, issued for operation of San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station,

Units 2 and 3 located in San Diego County, California. The licensees are Southern California Edison Company, San Diego Gas and Electric Company, the City of Riverside, California and the City of Riverside, California. Notice of Consideration of Issuance of the amendments was published in the FEDERAL REGISTER on November 20, 1985 (50 FR 478'71).

The purpose of the licer. sees' amendment request was to revise the Technical i

Specifications (TS) to reflect changes in the SCE organizational structure, to j

incorporate new NRC reporting requirements, and to make minor clarifications to certain other requirements.

Subsequently SCE informed the staff that the amendments are no longer requested.

Thus, the amendments for application is considered to be withdrawn by the licensees.
