Docket No. 50-142 UCLA Security Plan I have reviewed the letter from the licensee dated June 9,1976, which contained revised Figures 11 and 12.

The three requested changes, as shown on these figures, are as follows:

1.

The change of the outer door lock on room 1005 from a dummy to a level B does not decrease the security of the facility as the interior door from room 1005 to the reactor room remains a level A access.

2.

The addition of a new room (2549) with level B access does not impact the presently approved security area boundary.

I 3.

The addition of one level A keyholder to assist in escort duties in the security area does not materially decrease security at the facility.

None of the above changes tend to decrease the effectiveness of the securit'y plan, as previously approved by letter to the licensee dated March 18, 1976.

The security plan, as submitted, continues to meet the requirements of 10 CFR 50.34(c) and 73.40 and is acceptable.
