We have reviewed your proposed revisions, dated June 20, 1975 and July 15, 1975, to the Security Plan for the UCLA Training Reactor, approved by letter dated January 8, 1975.
We find your proposed revisions to be acceptable except for the provision described in the enclosure, which is being withheld from public disclosure.
Within 30 days following receipt of this letter, please provide us with a written response to the comments contained in the enclosure.

I ENCLOSUPG COM4ENTS ON PROPOSED REVISIONS TO T11E UCLA SECURITY PLU At Section D.1. of the plan you state that only one member of the UCLA Police Department will immediately respond to an intrusion alarm and that additional personnel would be available te respond if needed.
Your Security Plan, dated.\\ugust 21, 1974, stated that at least two members of the security force would immediately respond.
h'e find this change tends to decrease the effectiveness of the security plan for the facility.
No explanation is offered for the change, and it appears that no compensating security measures have been provided.
We request, therefore, that you provide justification for this proposed change or revise your plan to reflect the previously approved level of protection.
