Dear Mr. Chairman:
In view of our conversation during lunch recently, I wanted to personally inform you that the Comission has decided that, effective February 1,1988, the Office of Investigations will report to the Deputy Executive Director for Regional Operations. This action was taken in response to the language in the Conference Report which accompanied H.J. RES. 395. The Consission ,
intends to develop over the next 60 days plans to permanently integrate the l investigative functions under the Deputy Executive Director for Regional ',
