/2//f/fP STATEMENT Of JOSEPH J. SN0rJi0nS My n.sme is .loseph .1 Snokhons. I take this time to write my feelings and true knowledge of what 1 know aliout Conunche l'c.d nut.1+ .ar pom:r plant, and firown

& Root. During my employment as a boilermaker for three years and three months with Brown & Root, some of, my duties were core boring. During that core boring, I found large air pockets or voids and in many cases found powdery concrete at times so powdery that it would not even form a core. This was found all over the plant including the reactor area and in both reactor containments.

This was reported to the proper Brown & Root people but nothing was ever done to correct it as far as I know.

Also during this time, there were other things going on that caused a lot of discomfort for me and my family. I was accused of stealing something that never left the jobsite. I was asked to take a polygraph test and told that if I took it my job was in jeopardy and if I didn't take it my job was in jeopardy. At this time I was making something for Charlie Scruggs that was going to be used at his house. Also, things were made for George Tanley for his personal use at his home using material which was bought for use at the plant. Also during the investigation on my case, nothing was kept quiet and I was being harrassed by other people. This resulted in hardship on raf family because we were going through an adoption at the time and it made things hard on me and my family.

Therefore, I am making this statement, which is honest and based on my personal knowledge about Comanche Peak.
