I am enclosing the Westinghouse Standard Technical Specifications which may be useful to the nine-member FSAR review team as they prepare for their possible visit to the NRC.
1 Your request for the review team visit has been presented tb the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation and I expect a response in the near future.
I have not yet received the biodata on Rara. Jimenea. Puga. and Ampara which you requested by your telex sent from NRC to the PAEC during your visit. It would also be helpful to the NRC review staff to be infonned by. the mission men 6ers where they are ir the
- review process and writing of the SER. As example, are they just
- starting, near the mid-point, or nearly completed with a few
- outstanding items.

SUBJECT:
PHILIPPINE FSAR REVIDi TEAM MISSION In response to sy letter of June 24,1988, the Philippine Atomic Energy Commission has requested NRC assistance for a nine-earrber PAEC team to visit the RC.
Purpose of the team visit is for each team member to review a selected portion of their FSAR and write the draft safety evaluation. This is expected to be a two- to three-month exercise.
It is requested that NRC staff contacts be identified for each PAEC team member and. if possible, an NRC project manager to coordinate activities with the PAEC head of mission.
I enclose a copy of sy letter of June 24 and the list of PAEC team members with their FSAR areas of interest. Please note that team members Refre.
Gesalta, and Rodriguer have each spent time previously with NRR and Nacario has been with the !&E headquarters office.
