FORKED RIVER 1 C0 REPORT 71-02 The Forked River QA Plan has been approved and implemented. The major contractors have developed detailed procedures and instructions covering the activities now in progress and scheduled in the near future. A schedule for completion of the remaining portions appear commensurate with the project status.

The JCP&L/CE contract has not been signed; however, the QA plan, which will be referenced in the contract, has been approved by GPU/JCP&L.

A site visit will be scheduled when a~ctivities start onsite.

The management exit interview was held on July 23, 1971.

R. Hgward and B. G. Avers were receptive and stated their inten-tions regarding documentation of quality. Documentation require-ments allow for the use of Certificates of Compliance; however, l

GPU stated their intentions were to have all documentation regarding quality on site prior to installation or use.
