An inspection of the internal torus catwalk support structure revealed that the catwalk mitered sectionn were not all attached to the horizontal f
catwalk support plates in the sarr manner, A subsequent review of the support stmeture installation drmfings revealed that all the catwalk mitered sections i
are required to be both welded and bolted to the support plates at each attach-ment location.
Of the sixty four attacimient locations (four per mitered section),
two locations are neither wclded nor bolted, two locations are welded onlyly.wo t
locations are bolted and welded, and the reraaining locations are bolted on All attaciment locations will be upgraded to neet the original design requirements l
prior to the completion of the current outage.
