~{4 Dear Mr. Bajwas

-4;,,

,ft' We have reviewed Tentative Work Assignment "J" described in your letter of June 14,1942 (Reference 1), and conclude that we are capable of perfoaming

{

the work. As discussed below, we have reorganised the work statessent to unore i!

clearly define the scope of work.

q s

In accordance with asterence 1 and the terms of our contract (asterence

(

2), we are transmitting herewith our pr-:t-:::d schedule and level of effort of l

statt technical resources required to accomplish this assignment. This proposed schedule and estimated level of effort were prepared by our proposed co-Group Leaders, Dr. L. Lac =ard (215/448-1314) and Mr. T. Soc't (215/448-1160), after a preliminary review meeting on this subject with you 4...t Nm;'s Mr. C. McCracken and Mr. J. Rajan on June 11 and June 15, 1982.

Due to the complexity and tight scheduling on the assignment, we are giopostng Mr. T. Shook as an administrative co group leader to closely monitor the progress of the assignment. H is will allow Dr. L. Leonard, the technical

[

co group leader, to concentrate on the technical details of the assignment.

f I

e t -

un this assignment, it may be necessary to review and evaluate pioprtetary documents and processes. FRC agrees to follow tne procedures I

alteady in use on other FRC assignments involving review of proprietary I

t ut ornat ion.

FMC's proposed schedule and technical resource allocation for the subject assigrunent are presented in the attached enclosure. We have divided the assignment into a three-task program. The cost estimate for engineering staf f-hours and a detailed work schedule are provided for all the tasks.

However, for Task C, it may lx necessary to provide a revised estimate if additional independent analysia is required.

Very truly yours, Ny M
