Turbine Sump 011 Separator Outfall No:
800218 Wastes (00G)
Parameter: 011 and Grease - Frcon Parameter No: 00556 1.
Date of Incident: 7/12/82, 7/13/82, 7/14/82 2.
Identification of specific effluent limitation or monitoring requirement affected:
011 and grease are limited to 20 mg/l daily maximum concentration.

Description of Incident:
A routinc sampic collected 7/12/82 indicated 21.7 mg/l oil and grease.
Sam-plcs co11ceted 7/13 and 7/14 measured 25.5 and 112.5 mg/1, respectively. The oil appeared to be turbine lube oil.

Apparent Cause:
Apparent clogging of oil removal filters in the emulsion breaking system.

If not immediately corrected, the anticipated time the condition is expected to continue:

Corrective Action - The following corrective action was taken or will be taken to reduce, eliminate and prevent recurrence:
The oil removal filters were changed on 7/16/82 after receiving notification of sample results on 7/15/82. Oil absorbent pillows were changed in the tur-bine sump and the turbine sump oil separator tank (T-41).
