Date of Incident:
7/22/82 and 7/23/82 2.
Identification of specific effluent limitation or monitoring requirement affected:
011 and grease are limited to 20 mg/l daily maximum concentration.

Description of Incident:
Routine oil and grease samples collected on 7/22/82 and 7/23/82 measured 26.5 and 31.8 mg/1, respectively. Additional samples collected on 7/26/82 and 7/27/82 measured 7.2 and 9.0 mg/1, respectively.

Apparent Cause:
No specific cause could be identified for the apparent exceedances on 7/22/82 and 7/23/82.

If not immediately corrected, the anticipated time the condition is expected to continue:

Corrective Action - The following corrective action was taken or will be taken to reduce, eliminate and prevent recurrence:
The turbine sump oil separator tank (T-41) was pumped out on 7/28/82 to remove accumulated oil from the water surface. The oil absorbent pillows were also changed and the floating oil removal devices in T-41 were emptied.

Additional Comments:
The daily observation of the discharge showed no visible oil on the lake surface.
