WEST BRANCH CONSERVATION ASSOCIATIONS RESPONSE TO INTERROGATORIES. LIST OF WITNESSES AND EXHIBITS A-D The following is incomplete due to the f act that some agencies' Boards of Directors have not yet met in May.

Essentially our contentions are such that we will rely on NUREG-0654 and the Rockland County Radiological Emergency Response Plan (RERP) which we presu=e all parties who need it have. We cannot supply it to those who may wish it and refer them to the State Of New York representative or the Licensees.

We are extremely hampered by the f act that we have to date not received a single reply to our inter-rogatories.

WBCA LIST OF NITNESSES OUESTIONS #3 and #4 Contention 3.2 We await reply to our interrogatory to the licensees.

Contention 3.3 We await opportunity to examine Parsons, Brinker-hoff, etc. studies. We can say now that we will use NUERG-0654 Rev.1 and Rockland County RERP using references in our Interrogatory of April 29.

Contention 3.9 Police Chief Michael Holland, Village of Haver-straw, immediate past president Rockland County Chiefs of Police. Chief Holland will describe his department's responsibilities in relation to the roads and his experience moving traffic with respect to the roads. He has no documents.

Fred Seecer, Superintendant of Highways, Town of Clarkstown, 28 years experience, elected by all political parties. Same as Holland, above.

Chief of Sheriff Patrol James Kralik, s ame as Holland above. Chief Kralik will probably be offered as a Rockland County witness.

WBCA expects to offer additional such personnel as described in 3.3 above from other towns.

Contention 4.3 The same witnesses as 3.9 above.

s WBCA LIST OF NITNESSES, continued, Contention 4.4 ,

Mrs. Ruth Wien, Rockland County Office of the Visually impaired. May be Rockland County wit-ness or ours, not yet determined.

An official from the Rockland County Center For The Physically Handicapped WBCA will offer. .

Mrs. Gladys Burcer, President, Disabled In Ac-tion of Rockland County, WBCA witness. Mrs.

Burger is surveying the f acilities of the handi-capped with regard to moving them in an emergency.

All the above will offer statistics from their records as exht.its attached to their testimony.

They will illustrate how many handicapped are in the ten mile EPZ and what arrangements are made to move them, and what needs for movement are lacking, and what might be done toward improve-ment.

Contention 4.7

WBCA has mailed the attached questionnaire to all residents within a geographical area in-northwest Clarkstown. We hope to receive enough returns to give them to an analyst, or to otherwise report the replies. See Exhibit A.

4 NBCA LIST OF WITNESSES, continued.

All contentions

  • In order to support all of our contentions in regard to the population within the 10 mile EPZ we have arranged with Rockland County for the good services of one of its witnesses, Mr. Georce O' Lear, Associate Planner employed by the Rockland County Planning Board since 1964.

Mr. O' Lear will offer computations still in pro-gress from the census tracts, maps and lists, see Exhibits B and C attached.

The estimate of Spanish speaking people is 6000 comprising approximately 1,950 families, see Exhibit D attached.

Resumes and addresses It should be apparent from descriptions above that )

many of the witnesses can be reached at their places of business. We hope that they will not be subjected to any harrassments such as the intervenors have by the licensees. Therefore we object to providing their home addresses.

Mrs. Burger's_only address is 51 Sneden Place W.

i Spring Valley, N.Y. 10977, her phone number Rockland County 1 need not be part of the record. Jawonio,/denter For the Physically Handicapped is at 260 North Little Tor Rd., New City, N.Y. 10956.
