' Schedule)~herein, Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc.

(" Con Edison") , licensee of the Indian Point Station, Unit No. 2, and Power Authority of the State of New York (" Power Authority"),

licensee-of Indian Point 3 Nuclear Power Plant (collectively the " licensees"), request that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (" FEMA" ) answer on or befora April' 26, 1983, under oath and otherwise in accordance with 10 CFR Part 2 and the April 23, 1982 Order, the following supplemental interrogatories. The definitions set forth in full in Licensees Interrogatories to The Federal Emergency Management Agency, dated April 22, 1983 are incorporated herewith as if fully set forth herein.

Supplemental Interrogatories

21. With respect to the 16 operating nuclear power plant sites which have received FEMA approval under the "350" i

process, describe and identify the training which has been re-ceived by persons who would be called upon to provide transpor-tation services to transit-dependent persons in the event of a serious accident at those sites.

22. With respect to the 16 operating nuclear power plant sites which have received FEMA approval under the "350"

process, describe and identify all compensating-actions or measures which have been taken during annual exercises at

those-sites, or which may be taken in the event of a serious accident at those sites,'to ameliorate potential or actual lacklof cooperation or participation on:the part of one:or.

more State, county'or local governmental units.

23. Describe and identify the efforts of FEMA to improve.the quality of: nuclear power plant exercises, to re-view the methods of critiquing, and to standardize procedures for observing and reporting on exercises,.as described in the testimony of Richard W. Krimm before the. Subcommittee on Over-4 sight and Investigations of the U.S. House of Representatives dated' April 8, 1983.
24. Describe and identify the process by which lack

.of written agreements with support groups, lack of public edu-cation documents, and lack of training for directors or coordi-nators of response organizations were identified as generic radiological' emergency plan deficiencies, and problems associated with evacuation and inadequate scenarios to test State and local resource mobilization capability were identified as generic radiological emergency exercise deficiencies in a September 1982 FEMA report, and describe and identify all FEMA activities to correct for or reduce the impact of such generic' deficiencies.
