Millstone 2 was operating at 100% power until 2330, 30 December 1982, when it pre _ to go to Startup Mode in order to repair several secondary side steam leaks.

2. Fuel Burnup by core region:

The Millstone 2 core consists of 3 regions and a center assembly. The most.

burned region, consisting of Cmbustion Engineering manufactured fuel, had a burnup of 30980 MiD/M.

i h next region, ocasisting of the laading Westinghouse fuel, had a burnup of 18640 MdD/M.

The new fuel, also manufactured by Niestinghouse, had a burnup of 7410 MdD/ M . ,

The center assably, consisting of a single reinsert assenbly, was man-ufactured by Ccnbustion Engineering and had a burnup of 24830 MiD/M.--

3. Coolant purification flow was approximately 80 gpn during the 48 hours5.555556e-4 days <br />0.0133 hours <br />7.936508e-5 weeks <br />1.8264e-5 months <br /> pr M ing the event.
4. There was no history of degassing operaticos in the period prMhg the event.
