LETTER DATED APRIL 14, 1982, FROM FRIED, FRANK, HARRIS, SHRIVER & KAMPELMAN In the referenced letter, the author states, "Mr. Herr then advised Mr. Ben Lyon and myself that Mr. Thomas had recanted from certain statements..,,"
and "According to Mr. Herr, Mr. Thomas admitted to Mr. Herr in the presence of Thomas' att.orney...."

These statements attributed to my coments are inaccurate, raisleading, and are factually incorrect.
The author's attempt to discredit the investigation and/or investigator before reading the final report is questionable.
