QUESTIONS CONCERNING NRC'S HANDLING OF THE HAYWARD TYLER PUMP COMPANY INSPECTION-/ INVESTIGATION 1.
Did Collins know in advance 1) that Seyfrit was flying to Washington on February 24 to meet HTPC's law firm and 2) what documents he was going to give them?
If not, when did he find out?
2.
What evidence is there that Collins told Dircks, Stello and Case on February 18 that he had already released draft documents to HTPC?
In particular, whrt does Case say?
3.
Establish the truth and accuracy of the account in Gamble, Resner and Sinclair's April 20th memo to Cummings relating to Collins' contradictory statements.
If the account is true, what is Collins' explanation?

Bill Parler called this morning for Leonard Bickwit, OGC, and asked if anyone during the course of the Hayward Tylor Pump Company Investigation had asked John Collins the following questions:
1)
John, how do you explain that you heard the ED0's directive at the February 18th meeting not to release the reports and you did not, at that time, come forward that they had been released?
- 2) How do you explain that you did not notify anyone at Headquarters thereaf ter about the release?
- 3) When did you find out that Mr. Seyfrit had released the reports at the February 24 meeting with the vendor's attorneys in violation of the February 18 directive and what did you do to notify others of the February 24 release by Mr. Seyfrit?
Bill asked the following question to be answered by James Cummings.
Does he feel that these areas have been adequately probed by OIA?
