Dear Mr. Stolz:
On December 22, 1980, Mr. Eisenhut sent a letter (Log No. 698) to Toledo Edison concerning " Controls of Heavy Loads at Nuclear Power Plants Resolution of TAP A-36" (NUREG-0612). Toledo Edison is required to review our controls for the handling of heavy loads and identify those changes and modifications in the area of Interim Actions for Control of Heavy Loads and in Section 2.4 of NUREG-0612, which are germane to the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Unit No. 1, by June 1981.
Toledo Edison is currently performing analyses to determine the applic-ability of those actions listed in NUREG-0612. The planned completion date for the analysis is in July. Toledo Edison is now scheduled to submit its response by July 31, 1981.
