By letter dated August 30, 1979, you requeste) approval to eliminate the ad-ministrative control described in your letter dated Fecruary 12,1979, which implemented the action statement of Appendix A, Technical Specification 3.7.6.la at a river elevation of 680 feet above Mean Sea Level. Our par-tial review of the document " Soil Analysis of Turbine Building and Northern Yard Area," submitted by your letter dated May 2,1979, has verified that this administrative control is no longer required and may be removed.

The additional analysis requested by our letter dated June 20, 1980, should be forwarded as soon as feasible to allow us to complete the review of the document " Soil Analysis of Turbine Building and Northern Yard Area."
