L AlidyNE l!NGIN*&IIING COIIPOIIATION i.o SCOPE This document defines the Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP) for the JCl 77-Q2 Circuit Board Assembly.

A sample of th_e test report. to be used with this ATP is contained in Appendix A.

2.0 EQUIPMENT REQUIRED Table 1 lists the test equipment required to perform the ATP.

3.2 Set DMM to kOhm measurement mode and range to 1 k Ohm.

3.3 Connect the DMM leads together and record the reading Rs Ohms.

3.4 Connect the DMM leads to edge connection pins 20 and 26.

The DMM reading should be the same as in step 3.3 +/-0.1 Ohm.

Indicate acceptance on test report with checkmark.

3.5 Connect the DMM leads to edge connector pins 20 and test point TPl.

The DMM reading should be the same as in step 3.3 +/-0.1 Ohm.

Indicate acceptance on test report with checkmark.

3.6 Connect DMM leads to edge connection pins 22 and 24 instead of 20 and TPl.

The DMM reading should be the same as in step 3.3 +/-0.1 Ohm.

Indicate acceptance on test report with checkmark.

3.7 Disconnect DMM leads from the unit.

AlidyNE l!NGINaa,11-COIIPO-TION 1.0 SCOPE This document defines the Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP) for PS324-Q2 power supply assembly.

Either the end item ATP or a special test procedure appropriate to a particular contract will define any additional require-ments.

A sample test report is included in Appendix A.

2.0 EQUIPMENT REQUIRED Table 1 lists the test equipment required.to perform the ATP.

Make sure the fuse rating is lA.

4. 0.INITIAL TEST SET -UP 4.1 Connect PS324-Q2, Digital Multimeters (DMM), variac & PS324 tester as shown in figure 1. Set the variac to lowest dial setting. Make sure load ON/OFF switch.on tester is on OFF position.

4.2 Plug in variac to 115V AC & switch it ON.

Slowly increase the*variac out-put to 115V AC.

The power on green light emitting diode (LED) on PS324-Q2 should be on.

5. l Load Regulation
5. 1. l With load switch in the OFF position the DMM should read_24 +/-l.5VDC (no load regulated voltage) and note the reading. Set load switch to ON position and note the meter reading again.

The difference between the two readings should be less than 250mV DC.

Indicate acceptance with check mark on test report.

5.2 Line Regulation 5.2. l Lower the AC line voltage to 103.5V AC.

Note the DMM reading:*

Raise the* AC line voltage to 126.5V AC and note the DMM reading.

The difference between the two readings should be less than 300mVDC.

Indicate acceptance with check mark on test report.

5.3 Output Ripple 5.3.l Set the DMM to measure AC voltage and lOOmV range.

The output should be less than lOmV rms.

Indicate acceptance with check mark on test report.

5.3.2 Switch off the AC line power.

Disconnect PS324-Q2 f/Om tester.
