- REVISED SUBMITTAL DATE On March 29, 1996, Consumers Power Company submitted a Technical Specifications Change Request (TSCR) to revise the Palisades Plant Technical Specifications to emulate the Standard Technical Specifications, Combustion Engineering Plants, NUREG 1432. That. request was withdrawn on May 31, 1996, because it did not meet the conversion guidance of the newly issued NRC Administrative Letter 96-04 and Nuclear Energy Institute guidance in NEI 96-06. At that time we stated that we expected to resubmit the TSCR, revised to meet the conversion guidance, by March 1, 1997.
Since that time, we have awarded a contract. to Excel Servk:es Corporation, who has been involved in most, if not all, of the conversions at other utilities. After reviewing the effort required to revise our submittal to conform with the conversion guidelines, we currently expect to submit our revised conversion request by November 30, 1997. We will keep the Palisades NRR Project Manager informed of our progress and of any change in our expected submittal date.
SUMMARY
OF COMMITMENTS This letter contains RO new commitments, but revises the formerly committed date for our Technical Specification conversion submittal from March 1, 1997 to November 30, 1997.
