Good Morning, By letter dated June 30, 2016 (ADAMS Accession No. ML16190A248), PSEG Nuclear LLC (PSEG or the licensee) submitted a request for changes to the Hope Creek Generating Station (Hope Creek) and Salem Nuclear Generating Station (Salem), Unit Nos. 1 and 2, Renewed Facility Operating Licenses (FOLs). The requested changes would revise the Cyber Security Plan (CSP) Milestone 8 implementation schedule for Hope Creek and Salem, Unit Nos. 1 and 2. Specifically, this change extends the PSEG CSP Milestone 8 full implementation date as set forth in the PSEG CSP implementation schedule and revises the FOLs.

Attached is the draft Safety Evaluation (SE) that the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff has prepared to support the proposed license amendment. Pursuant to Section 2.390 of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR), we have made a preliminary determination that the enclosed draft SE does not contain security-related information. However, since the NRC's review was based largely on review of security-related information, the NRC staff requests that the licensee confirm that the draft SE does not contain any information that is considered security-related. If you believe that any information is security-related, please identify such information line-by-line.
