The Alan J Blotcky Reactor Facility had requested on January 14, 2010 that the NRC exempt the facility from Emergency Plan Requirements based on the facility's absence of nuclear fuel.
(The NRC's Inspection Manual, Inspection Procedure 69002 states, "Ifthe facility is not to return to reactor operations and all fuel has been removed from the facility, there may (be) no need to maintain the emergency plan. The licensee should request exemption from the NRC before they discontinue implementation of the plan).
The Alan J Blotcky Reactor Facility now asks to rescind this request.
The Alan J Blotcky Reactor Facility had also requested on January 14t and August 5th of 2010 either the exemption from or changes to a number of Technical Specifications.
The Alan J Blotcky Reactor Facility now asks to rescind these requests.
