Site  : SALEM Emergency Class  : NON EMERGENCY ENDANGERED SPECIES REPORT At 0925 EST on 12/13/13, a live sturgeon was caught in the Salem Unit 2 Circ Water Trash Rack. It was determined that the fish was an atlantic sturgeon which is an endangered species. At 0940 EST the sturgeon was released back to the river.

At 1000 EST the licensee informed the National Marine Fisheries and the CT Department of Environmental Protection.

Notified R1DO (Schmidt) and NRR (Endangered Species) via email.
