On September 11, 2013, the NRC Staff filed an unopposed motion for an extension of time to respond to Riverkeeper, Inc.s (Riverkeeper) consolidated motion regarding RK-EC-8A.1 The State of New York (New York) and Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (Entergy) do not oppose this request, but Entergy requests, in the event that we grant the Staffs motion, that Entergy be afforded the same extension of time for filing its answer to Riverkeepers consolidated motion.2 Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, Inc. (Clearwater) takes no position.3 Riverkeeper does not oppose the Staffs request, provided that it is afforded a single consolidated date on which to reply to both the Staffs and Entergys answers.4 1

Good cause having been shown,5 the Board GRANTS the NRC Staffs motion for an extension of time. The NRC Staffs and Entergys answers to Riverkeepers consolidated motion will be considered timely if filed on or before October 1, 2013. Riverkeepers reply to the Staffs and Entergys answers will be considered timely if filed on or before October 8, 2013.
