Dear Sir or Madam:

By an email dated December 21, 2012 (0CNA121207) (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML12356A218), the NRC issued requests for additional information (RAIs) on Revision 14 of the Arkansas Nuclear One Security Plan which was submitted on October 4, 2012 (OCAN101202) (ADAMS Accession No. ML12286A336). The responses tothe RAIs are provided in Attachment 1.

Attachment 1 to this letter describes current security measures and is considered to be safeguards information as defined by 10 CFR 73.21. The enclosed material should be handled accordingly.

This letter contains new regulatory commitments which are identified in Attachment 2.
